Chet immediately drove to Topock to discuss the developer’s plans for the Marina. When he asked the new buyer for a long term lease, he was told that the Park was to be demolished to make way for a Private Marina and Condominium Complex. Obviously, this was bad news for Chet and the rest of the folks living in the Park.
